I'm still around!
Hey guys sorry it's been a while. We still don't have internet and probably won't till the middle of July. So I am making do. I hope all of ya'll are great. We got completely unpacked and I am fixing to start painting. My birthday was this past Saturday and it was pretty good. My parents took us out to eat at Macaroni Grille (YUM!) and then that night me and Wes went and played putt putt golf. He got me an Ipod shuffle for my b'day and it's hot pink! I was sooo excited to get it! Our 1st anniversary is this upcoming Sunday...it's hard to believe it's been a year! He has the whole week off next week then he starts at Browns Ferry on July 9th. We are both pretty excited about that. Well that's about all. It will probably be about another week before I can check this sucker again. Take care and have a great week!

Hi guys!
Well I still don't have internet but I am borrowing my parents to do some much needed updating of all my friends lives. We are moved in and it is starting to come together...keeping my fingers crossed that I can have it all done before my birthday in a little less than 2 weeks. We still don't have internet/phone/cable...so I have been catching up on all my Friends DVD seasons just to have some background noise in the house. Hopefully we will have that stuff too before my birthday rolls around. We turn our apartment keys in this afternoon and I am glad. I wanted to turn them in last Tuesday after me and my mother in law finished cleaning the apartment but according to lease agreement I couldn't turn my utilities off till the last day of lease which is today. I have never had to encounter that before. In past apartments we could turn them off whenever. But anyway...I decided I wasn't going to turn my keys in and not have my utilities off yet because someone could come in and run up our utilities bill....so they are getting the keys this afternoon.
We had something sad happen last Wednesday our third day in the house. Our cat Ashes, he was the grey one, died. We don't really know what happened...he just didn't seem like himself when we got back from Washington. He went down hill quickly and went on to a better place about 9:30 Wednesday night. We buried him at the edge of our property.
Well that's really about it. I am spending lots of time unpacking. Hopefully I'll have pics soon of my decorated house to post. Heck hopefully I'll have internet soon :) We are having to wait on them to verify that we can get cable out there. They are supposed to be out there today. With it being a new subdivision they have to make sure there are cable wires run out in the ground. Makes no sense to me because our house is already wired for cable so wouldn't that mean that we are able to get cable? But anyway...since it is a bundled package we get all three when they can get out there and do it. So I amuse myself with unpacking :) Hope everyone is doing great! Have a great week!

Moving Update...
Well I thought I would do one last blog before the internet gets turned off tomorrow. We have spent the entire weekend moving and we have a few things left here at the apartment. Moving has been eventful. First of all we were supposed to spend our first night in our new house on Saturday night. However, the sewer people stopped that plan for us. The water can not be ran to where it goes down the drain till Monday (tomorrow). We can run water if we catch it in a bucket...but no showers, toilet use, washing hands, nada. So our first night in our new house will be tomorrow night. However our last night here is spent on a blow up bed that doesn't seem to want to hold air. So we are pretty much sleeping on the floor. Oh well it's only one night :) We also had a lady almost start a fight with us at the U-Haul place over a truck on Saturday morning. We had reservations..she didn't...and she was flabbergasted that the guy was going to give us the truck because as she said "They are two kids...they can move the stuff themselves." She had already said she was just moving down the street....um we are moving 20 miles from our apartment. So anyway we got the truck after all that.
But I am happy that the majority of our stuff is over at the new house. Now if only I could twitch my nose and all of the stuff becomes organized and in all the right places. Haha! I wish!! I will say my patience has been tried this weekend with my mother in law and another guy that I guess you could call a friend of Wes'. He works with him but he is one of those guys that has something to say about everything. You know the type? Sometimes silence is a good thing. And my mother in law...well that's another story for another time. My parents and my big bro have been a saving grace this weekend, along with two good friends of Wes' Mark and Brian. They have helped above and beyond :)
Well I am hoping to have internet again by Wednesday so hopefully I can check on everyone then. Have a great first part of the week and I will see ya'll (HOPEFULLY) on hump day :)
