My Family

We had my moms side of the family reunion up at Kentucky Dam Village this past weekend. All of my mom's brother and sisters except two were there, with some or all of their children/grandchildren.

LtoR: Uncle Clyde, Aunt Freda, Aunt Mildred, Aunt Barbara, Aunt Betty, and my mom They have two more brothers, my Uncle Gene who was unable to make it, and my Uncle Roy who passed away in 2000.

This is the first cousins, minus 9 of us, and also no spouses were in this picture but we are all married.

These are some, but not all, of the second, third, and fourth cousins.

10 on Thursday instead of Tuesday

1. I am so tired lately. I have been sleeping horribly. Our matress is only as old as our marriage but to me it's just not sleeping well. So I bought a cushy bed thingy (yeah blanking on what they are called). I also bought two new sets of sheets, and a new comforter. So soon I'll have a new bed set up and I am hoping that will help with my sleeplessness. I can get to sleep, stay asleep for a bout three hours then I am wide awake so much that I get up as to not wake Wes. Like I have been up since about 2am this morning, and now I am getting sleepy again at 7am. I spend my day exhausted, no energy, and it's a challenge to make myself function.
2. I'm pretty irritated with my brother and sister in law. I won't go into it on here, but lets just say that they both need to have a little attitude change about some family matters. Enough said.
3. I have to make brownies to take to our family reunion this weekend, today. So my house should smell excellent today.
4. Keep Wes in your thoughts. Apparently he works with a bunch of grown adults who think they are still in high school. Think clique behavior. There are 18 guys and 1 female in their particular training class and as you can imagine this girl bring mucho drama to the table. Well the bigger problem is that there are some grown men who are just as bad as the female and well lets just say that it makes you want to tell a few people to grow up. Wes doesn't have patience for this kind of thing, and I don't either. And the worst part is these men are in their late 30's who have kids! Come on! Both he and I will be glad when his training period is over with and he gets away from some of those guys.
5. I have a kitty product rave. We keep our litter boxes out in our garage. Our kitties are trained to let us know when they need to go out. The main reason I did this is because as much as I love my kitties I hate kitty waste smells and litter smells. I don't want them in my house. Well one day I was in Walmart picking up litter and I noticed this igloo looking thing called the Booda. It was a litter box shaped like this little igloo. It hides the mess and it has a filter so that you can't smell anything. So we bought one, put it in our back hallway next to our laundry room, and voila our kitties have a indoor potty and it doesn't make my house smell. I forget it's there actually. But it has allowed Savanna to become an strictly indoor kitty only. We let Cliff, Gizmo, and Callie in during the day but they sleep in the garage at night. This is going to be this way until they get their kitten ways of wanting to run like wild Indians and attack everything in my house out of their systems. Otherwise until we can get them trained.

Okay so this 10 became a 5 because my 5 our long. I hope everyone has a great Thursday!

She's growing up way too fast!

Macy had her third birthday on Saturday. Lots of fun. Chris and Susan got her this really cool blow up water slide and the kiddies had a blast on it. I told my mom that was probably the best investment ever! This thing is like 12-15 feet tall! I would have liked to get on it myself.

And then check out this cake. My sister in law always gets the neatest cakes.

My niece is getting so big...sniff sniff. I can't help but think she looks like the Hancocks. I might be dillusional though lol :)

Hope everyone is having a fantastic Monday :)

10 on Tuesday

The what's been going on in my life besides Disney edition. :)
1. While in Disney me and my wonderful hubby celebrated 2 years of marriage!
2. I have had my credit card stolen and a $6,000 dollar bill ran up! I'm in the process of a fraud claim now. It's not fun, and tons of stress!
3. Macy is turning 3 on Saturday! I don't know where the time has went. Before I know it she'll be in school.
4. Can I say I officially hate writing papers?
5. My kitty Savanna got spayed and we have found homes for two of her kittens. Yay! The best part of that is that my dad is the one taking them so I will still get to see them when I visit.
6. We found out the story of what happened to the guy across the street from us. He shot himself and laid there for 9 days before he was discovered on my birthday. I really feel sorry for his family and friends. They are now in the process of cleaning the place out and I am hoping getting it on the market soon. It's just so spooky to see it sitting there, knowing what happened.
7. My mother in law has quit smoking! This is such a blessing!
8. Me and Wes are now the Sunday school teachers of three year olds!
9. We are going to Kentucky July 25-27 for my family reunion with my moms side. 2 days of boating, swimming, and cooking out. I find it funny however that no one in my family actually lives in Kentucky. It's just a middle point for us Alabamians and those in Indiana. But we will be on Kentucky Dam lake and I have heard it's really pretty.
10. Probably going to the beach Labor Day weekend. This seems to be a tradition for us.
Hope everyone is having a happy Tuesday!

My final Disney post...

then my blog can go back to being random lol.
These are pictures from our last night at Magic Kingdom. So they are mostly pictures of the SpectroMagic parade. This parade has been going on for at least 11 years because when we went with band in the 11th grade I remember seeing this parade. But it's still pretty neat and we had good seats along the curb. Enjoy!

And then to end the Disney posts....

M-I-C See you real soon K-E-Y Why? Because we like you! M-O-U-S-E

Last Day at Disney

We spent our last day at Disney at the Magic Kingdom. That is by far my favorite park and I felt that it would be a good ending to our trip. We ate breakfast with Winnie the Pooh and friends and that was awesome! Overall the trip was fantastic. There is a lot we still need to see. You just can't see it all in one trip :)

Aren't these Mickey waffles cute?

These cute topiaries were in the restaurant at the breakfast. Only they didn't have a piglet one, and I don't know why?

And inside this tent was........

Mickey and Minnie!
Disney World is having the year of a million dreams and as we were leaving Mickey's Judge tent the dream team was waiting outside. We were given these...and the only way to get these was to have the dream team give them to you. They say the year of a million dreams on the front and 2008 on the back.

Then we went off and found some other characters.

Okay so to keep this post from getting any longer I'll post the pictures from our last night either Saturday or Monday. And that my friends will be the last Disney post! Happy Weekend all!
