10 on Tuesday

1. I'm frustrated with Susan right now. There is a Christmas issue going on. Long story short, we used to have Christmas on Christmas Eve at my moms. Then the past two years we have done it at Chris and Susan's. Well my mom wants to go back to having it at her house because she wants Macy to know what Christmas at Nana's is like. Macy gets to have Christmas Day at her other grandparents house, so I don't think my mom is asking too much. I personally want to go back to having it at my parents house as well because it just seems more like Christmas. So I wrote this email to Susan...I'm hoping that I got the point across without sounding too mean. What do ya'll think?

Susan,

Hey. I talked to mom tonight and she told me she had emailed you about Christmas.
She told me that she wanted to go back to having Christmas at their house, but that you told her ya'll like to be at home on Christmas Eve. Is there some reason for that? I thought ya'll did Santa with Macy on Christmas morning?
Really to be honest with you I would rather go back to having it at my parents house. It is really important to my mom, she wants Macy to remember Christmas at Nana's house, and when mine and Wes's little ones come along I want them to know that too. Macy gets to see what Christmas is like at your parents house and so I don't think my mom is asking too much to get to have Christmas at their house on Christmas Eve. She said that you had said that we could do lunch but what I am afraid of is that we'd do that and then we wouldn't have a lot of time together because ya'll would want to get back home.
I understand ya'll have a lot going on that time of the year, but really my mom doesn't ask a lot from ya'll so I am asking you to let her have Christmas Eve back at her house. It would mean a lot to her.

Thanks,
Candi

2. I've been pretty down and out lately. I'm hoping that the holiday's will cheer me up.
3. I'm taking my mother in law out to eat for her birthday on Friday.
4. I have an opportunity for a job at the Huntsville Montessori school teaching pre-k...I'm going in to do some observations and if they like me and I like it I get to start in January.
5. I'm hoping only one more week of outage for Wes.
6. I'll be glad when my cousin's wedding is over with. Only 2 and a half more weeks.
7. I haven't started my Christmas shopping yet. I don't even know what to get anyone.
8. Me and Wes are going to Nashville the weekend after his birthday to see the lights and stuff at Opryland Hotel and to go shopping at Opry Mills. I also think we are going to go eat at the Melting Pot while up there. I'm just ready to go. I haven't seen Wes for more than 2 hours a day since he has been on this outage. It sucks.
9. I want a different hairstyle. But I don't know what. I'm thinking I might get bangs again.
10. Gas is $1.92 at the Chevron near my house!! I don't think we have seen gas below $2.00 since before 9/11. I was actually able to fill my Accord up for less than $40...that's a first since we have had it...with the old gas prices it was at least $60!
Happy Tuesday all!
